Despite a foggy morning, the flights appear on time. Very fast checkin & Security today.

I'll write a TR later today.

Have a good Saturday everyone.

Have a great flight - I am envious, will be in the AA Flagship Lounge underneath the clubhouse which for a first lounge is a shadow of what's above. That said, I'm going to try to get into the Cathay first lounge [;)].

The AA dungeon at heathrow is the worst place in the world. Last time I had a shower there... be warned... DONT DO IT. I think I spent the whole flight to JFK crying about not being in the CH... why why why does my firm force us to fly AA????

Yup, I'm in the CH right now, waiting for VS23.

Very good, very smooth airport experience so far, from only having to wait about 30 seconds for a check-in agent, who offered me one of those elusive bulkhead PE seats without asking, to a nice unhurried lunch in the Clubhouse.

The only sketchy bit in the service was when the CH was at it's busiest, with VS900, VS251, VS45, VS11 and VS23 pax all in at the same time. Just seemed a bit 'lumpy', and it was hard to get someone to pop up to the fluffy skylounge - but at least it wasn't fenced off for a zeleb today. Oh, and we have the people from the Qatar flight in as well now.

There isn't a cloakroom guardian today, I know someone else mentioned this in another TR. There is just a sign saying 'please feel free to use the shelves'.

They've just made first boarding call, over at gate 3. I'm sat here post haircut and shower with a mojito in my hand, and a bacon roll on order, using the 'mojito boarding ploy' to avoid the gate scrum.

All I hope is that they have a laptop lead on board which powers this dratted Fujitsu laptop my company have given me ;).

Wish me luck!

Mike

We were put into holding this morning on the arriving VS2 due to fog at LHR. We were one minute from diverting to Stansted when we were allowed to land. Our allocated stand was taken by late leaving VS metal - delayed due to fog - so we were sent over to 40 or therabouts.
