Can anyone please explain to me or help when I am trying to book a flight with spend miles on the payment page where you put your payment details into pay for the taxes etc it will not allow you to put the card holder name in, as my partner will not be flying but I will so I need to pay for these costs. FC (India) I think don't seem to understand what I'm trying to explain.
Thank you for any input

It automatically puts the name of the persons whose FC account you are using for the miles as the card holders name so you don't need to in put it?

I think that the point is that the FC account holder has to book the ticket - therefore it has to be paid for by them. Therefore if you are trying to book flights using your partners miles they will have to make and pay for the booking.

The problem is it will be me on the plane and I was under the impression that ther person sitting on the plane MUST be the one who has paid for the ticket.

Not at all, you can buy a ticket for someone else.

Your partner needs to make the online booking but then change the 'Will [insert name] be one of the passengers traveling' option to 'NO' before clicking 'Continue' to the payment stage. They can then enter your name and payment details.

I think you are prob best calling Flying Club again and getting a different agent. You will need to be an authorised user on his account thou to access his miles though.
