V-Flyer

I'm looking to use a companion voucher thanks to my Amex card, but can never seem to get B, L or M prices up on the Virgin booking screens. Anyone know how to get on-line visibility of these fare classes? I'm looking to try and use a companion ticket for LHR-LAX in March 09.

ExpertFlyer details all fare classes, though you need to add tax to the prices shown.

You can't get these prices through the VS site online unless they are the lowest fare code available (which is unusual most of the time). The only way is to give FC a call and specifically ask for a price for the fare could you want. L will be the lowest/cheapest you can use for a companion voucher.

To be honest, it might work out cheaper to buy 2 N or Q fares rather than an L and then use your companion voucher which you will have to pay tax on also.

You can also call your friendly travel agent who can give you availability and prices on all fare codes!

Must be going blind, can't see on the V-Flyer Expert Flyer page which account name/password to use?

The Username/password are at the top on the page when you go in to the Expert Flyer forum. As McMaddog says though, the fares on EF do not contain the taxes (which are a large % of the fares currently) so you are still best calling FC to get a true fare/cost.
