Seen the current East Coast sale and wondering about flights to Chicago for 4 of us on 12th April, returning on 17th April. Anyone know if its worth waiting, we're looking at economy at the moment, unless we can stretch to PE.

As the 12th April is Easter Sunday (i.e. slap bang in the middle of school holidays) I suspect the likelihood of a sale around that time will be a little remote.

That is the second week of the Easter Holiday. Not sure if that will affect loads to ORD much.

Also, there is already a thread here, about a Chicago flight being cancelled in April. I don't know how wide spread that is, as that may also affect your decision making.

I don't think the prices will get much better than the current sale, (£289 until 30 Jun 09) but who knows?

You also need to get a Sat night in there, that'll help with the price.

Chicago is fab, didn't spend enough time there but the time we did, we loved it.

It was like a quiet, clean NY

I got 4 sale PE seats out on the 11th (Sat) originally back on the 14th (Tues)...but that flight has been cancelled (per Nick's note) and we're now back on the service on the 15th (Weds).

You may already have seen it, but here's a thread about things to do in Chicago.

Are you happy with the current fare? If so book it.

Also consider combining the flight, hotel and/or car into a Virgin Holiday and booking it via The Destination Lounge for the exclusive V-Flyer discount only available to the super elite traveler, the VFer!
