Hi,

I'm sure this has been asked before, and there's probably somewhere on the VS website that answers it, but I can't find either!!

Can I get a refund on a 'K' ticket? One of our party of 4 may not be able to make a trip in April, and I can't see anything that tells me if it's possible, if there's a sliding scale etc....

So, I thought I would turn to you knowlegeable people... [:)]

It'll come down to the reasons for the cancellation. Unless there's something really unpleasant happened then no - although they will be able to reclaim the taxes etc.

Had a feeling that may be the answer.

Thanks Decker.

Could the name be changed, at a cost?

Name changes on restricted tickets are not permitted.

I seem to remember my latest K tickets say that date changes are permissible at £100 IIRC - is that a route you can go down?

Edit- from the VS website - Changes are permitted at any time for a charge of GBP100. At any time the fare is non refundable.

Another thought, if the trip has to be cancelled, is to claim on your travel insurance.

Thanks Nick. I'll call VS to check on that £100 thing.

Not sure if she has travel insurance but will follow that one up as well.

Many thanks!
