How many mentions of Sandy Lane in a review on Virgin Atlantic? I detest this chap! [:(!]

Thanks,

I used to not like him, and then I saw him dealing with Richard Littlejohn on Littlejohn's pisspoor TV show and had a new respect for him.

I take his reviews with a pinch of salt, and find them quite funny.

What's the betting that VS, knowing the travel dates of the great man, made sure all was well with the on-board food[:w][:w]

I hope so too. That is one serious breach of privacy. I'm surprised the editor allowed it,

There is a solitary, 4 letter c word I use to describe this individual.

If I ever get on a plane, and he is on it, I'll turn straight back and ask to go on another flight.

didn't he say he wasn't flying VS again last year ?

Also I knew benny hill, I used to talk to him most afternoons when he would walk through Shirley, very nice guy .

Has anyone ever told W**ker Winner what an annoying to55er he is? His articles are interesting to read but when I saw him slagging off Dear Old Benny I fumed, having met Benny Hill hundreds of times I can honestly say that I only ever saw a kind hearted, generous man, yes he was quiet but when he got to know you he was so incredibly funny.
Richard your right, if that C*CK was ever on my flight I too would ask to be transfered, and btw I hate those immensly annoying Insurance adverts!

Viz had a very amusing series of letters about what chefs do to his food when he visits their restaurants. It generally involved bodily fluids... but the last one read

'Michael Winner appeared unexpectedly at our restaurant and demanded the Soup of the Day. We didn't have time to w*nk in it, and he sent it back, saying it didn't taste right'

It's the irony of a food 'critic' telling us all how wonderful the food in UC is. Right.

That's the man I had the pleasure of meeting many times, carrying his groceries home.

Ian, Bryan, wrist slaps to the both of you, play nice or don't play [ii]

I have to say I find him very annoying, it's like the people that have to keep commenting on the black piece of Amex plastic they carry [ii]

And please explain this to me, did we really have to know how much his hotel bill was ? In this age of new world economics it does come across as, well stupid.

However I am glad he liked the food, the current menu is a huge improvement over the last few.

Food Critic? He should stick to appearing in commercials. It's the worst piece of writing that's ever graced The Times. Editor indeed should be sacked for letting The Time's standard drop so low.
