Hi All
If you had a choice on what you saw on the LHR Clubhouse Menu - what would it be? (within reason and within Kitchen equipment restrictions)
I am sure items like the 'Clubhouse Burger' will be a permanent feature.......!
I also enjoyed the Fish Pie, Cottage / Shepherds Pie, Eggs Benedict etc
Your thoughts?
Cheers
Richard

If I had a choice on what I saw on the LHR Clubhouse Menu ... mmmmmm .... last time I was there I did indeed have Eggs Benedict for breakfast, and a very good piece of salmon, grilled, with mash and other assorted goodies, served with a decent french chardonnay, for lunch. That was actually pretty good. I've usually always gone for the burger/pie stuff, and was reasonably impressed.
Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream was good, too [;)]

TBH, I'd LOVE to see a 'breakfast buffet' (Wynn style, of course) available from opening to 12.
But then, MAYBE that's asking for too much.... (Don't see why though [:w])

Oh please. This written by a model... [:p][}:)]
But the Wynn Breakfast Buffet is pretty yummy.
Waffles. They were on the menu but the machine broke a bunch.

Gentlemen, if your going to pick a Vegas buffet, at least pick the best one.

Whilst Buffets give you the choice, having experienced them at two different hotels in the past two weeks, 'cooked to order' breakfasts are far preferable

Too right. After all, eggs Benedict twice doesn't keep well under heat lamps.
Steak & Chips with choice of cuts
A sunday roast with all the trimmings

Haven't been to the CH for a while, but a range of toasted sandwiches would good.

I like the idea of good old fashioned Comfort food - Pie and mash, bangers and mash, lasagne, chicken casserole, Chilli con carne, sticky toffee pud, treacle sponge and apple pie with ice cream.

I agree on the comfort food [y]
Additional breakfast offerings I would like to see are corned beef hash with a nice, soft poached egg on top. And Kedgeree, also with a poached egg on top.
For the daytime menu, and being true to my Lancashire roots, a Lancashire hotpot with red cabbage and/or beetroot.
