Since the update, one thing that is missing from the 'My Booking' section of the VS web site is your actual booking reference (PNR).

I cant actually think of any other airline website manage booking system that doesn't show you your own PNR?

Whilst this is not that important for direct bookings as you are given your PNR once the booking is confirmed, you don't get the VS PNR if you book via VH.

Whilst you can use your VH booking reference to find you VS booking (most of the time), it is a bit of a pain as you always have to enter the details twice along with the flight number and date of travel.

With the old system once you retrieved your VS booking using your VH reference, it displayed your VS PNR so for future look-ups, you could just enter the VS PNR in the normal way.

OK I know it's only one extra page you have to enter details on but it's still a pain.

I agree - I always make sure I get the locator from VH at the time of booking to save that hassle

I booked my VH package last night online and just called VS Premier to get my PNR (so much easier than having to call VH)

Also I wonder how difficult it would be for VH to include your VS PNR within their own manage booking system?

The flight booking goes though to VS straight away so a VS PNR is generated instantly, as I was able to find my VS booking (using the VH ref) as soon as the VH booking had been made.

I think their Worldwide holiday booking system does this already but their US holiday system never has.
