Amex Platinum and benefits with Virgin?

Just wondering if you get any benefits with virgin if you are an amex platinum cardholder? I know a while back it gave you access to the lounge but i don't think that still happens.

Not anymore - the CH access ceased years ago.

US AmEx Plat allows you to buy 2 for 1 Upper Class tickets. More of an AmEx benefit. Note that the deal only applies to higher fare class tickets; normally two lower fare class tickets are cheaper.
