Hi

I'm flying premium economy from LHR to HKG and returning in upper class, can I have access to the Heathrow clubhouse given that I have one leg in the highest cabin?

Probably not but thought I'd ask the question

Hi, and welcome.

In answer to your specific question, nope. Sorry. It's only valid for access on the Upper Class sector.

You WILL get access to the HKG clubhouse and the Revivals lounge at LHR when you land though [y]

You can pay for entry using the VH site. Alternatively try at checking and they should let you buy entry ... it's so worth it!

At a whopping 65 per person, I don't think it is justifiable, especially as you will not get any treatments etc.

You can still get treatments if you book through VH, you just can't pre-book them, so it is what is available on the day.

Of course, the best way to get in to the CH if you are not flying UC, is to become a paid member of a wonderful site (our very own V-Flyer, just in case anyone was confused) and post your trip details in the itineraries forum. If any fellow V-Flyers are then flying UC or are Au card holders, more often then not they will be very kind and sign you in as their guest.

Virgin Holidays site says you do get treatments, the price is 60/pp for 2009.

Indeed and you CAN pre-book treatments with VH - something my sister and her family did last month when flying UC with them.

You CAN but you're no MEANT to be able to as it makes the Au benefit meaningless. Basically a triumph of marketing over execution.

Surely, if you are travelling UC, you can book a treatment no matter who you have booked your seat through?

The debate is whether you can (or should be able to) book a treatment when you have bought CH access through VH, and are travelling PE or Economy.

An UC ticket is just that (regardless of who it is booked through).Same benefits as if booked dirctly with VS.
