Locked out of my VH booking on Vs website

Hi
The flight times have changed on my Vegas flight in May, only by 40 min or so. When I try to manage my booking on Vs website it tells me to contact my tour operator (VH) to update the booking before I can gain access. I have called them, and they have no idea what I am on about. Flying club then told me its def VH that have to update the booking to allow access as they are not allowed.

Anyone know a way round this? Its driving me mad!

Hi Gavin

I had this situation recently. I contacted the friendly TA who'd done my booking, who phoned VH, who said all was clear..but I remained locked out.

I left it about a week, and then phoned VH directly feigning innocence and ignorance (not difficult). The agent I spoke to went through the usual identity ritual, found the booking, passed the details of the change to me and then told me to try the website again in a few hours. And lo, the booking was available again..

The point of the tale is not to say 'I'm alright Jack' (honestly) but rather to say that some at VH do know their stuff and it's worth trying again.

Cheers!
Well I called VH again, who just read the new flight times to me, so I called Flying club again, and this time went through the make a booking option which put me through to a UK agent, she knew exactly what I wanted and updated my booking in 5 seconds!

It seems to me the indian call centers are not so hot on this procedure at both VH and VS which is a shame as it gave me a runaround!

If it happens again call VA and always go for new booking option, and talk really nice to the agent and they will if you confirm that you are aware of the fight change. Release the hold on booking [:D]
