Flying on SQ, VS ticket, US miles

Ok I came across a thread on another forum, here is the question.

You book a flight with VS, it's on SQ metal and you want the miles credited to your US account, will you get the miles ?

My general thought is no due to it being a codeshare flight.
If the ticket was bought from SQ directly then it's a non issue.
If it was VS it's a non issue, but due to buying it from VS then flying on SQ I have my doubts.

So what do you think.

I would say no due to codeshare, but it depends on the t&cs of US airways programme
