Hello!

Does anyone know, if you get a PE reward ticket, can you then pay to upgrade it to Upper or can you only buy a lower class ticket and then upgrade with miles?

Also, if someone bought a PE ticket using SQ miles, could they then use VS miles to upgrade to Upper?

No on both counts I'm afraid.

You can only upgrade a reward fare with more miles.

Also rewards fares can only be booking using one particular airlines FF miles. You can't mix miles from multiple airlines (even if they are partner airlines)

You could always try on the day at the airport, as they might like to take some money or flying club miles off you to upgrade if the loads are light
