So I was outside all day making the best of the 94 degree weather, and giving my back yard a complete makeover, had a few beers with the neighbours, went online about half an hour ago, and accidentally brought up the V-Flyer page instead of one of my other bookmarks. Glad I did though, as it sent a jolt through my memory, and I suddenly remembered I had a flight on hold, that expired tonight at 9pm. It was 10.30pm. Oops.
I called them quickly and asked if there was any way she could let me have the price from the flight I had held. This was key, as I had reserved it on Thurs 2 hours before the price was due to jump by over a thousand $s. Great news, she gave me the same price, as I was AU and only an hour and a half late. If it wasn't for V-Flyer, I would have completely forgotten until tomorrow and then I would have been stuck. :)

Side note, I also asked her to look up my flying club details, to see if they had my US home address anywhere. My account is registered to my UK address, the billing address for the US credit card I use is our office address over here, and yet when I got home from the UK last week, there was a birthday card in my mail box from Virgin. I have nooo idea how they tracked me down here, and the lovely and helpful lady on the end of the phone had no idea either! Nice touch though!
