OLCI on an iPhone?

Is it possible to check-in online using an iPhone? I've noticed that I can bring up my booking, but on the 'view/change seats' page, it doesn't allow me to scroll the part of the page with the seat map. I can still enter seats manually, but that's not really going to work if I can't see what seats are available.

Good job I just checked though, as I found our flight back from Boston on 14th June has changed from a 747 to A340-600, and we got given row 19 in PE by default. Am I right in thinking that row has no full windows? I've moved us to row 20 now, which will hopefully be OK. Just a shame we're stuck with a 343 for outward journey to ORD.

I did it on my iTouch the other week.

Could not get it to scroll the page where you can view what seats are available though, just like you.

I used my iTouch last year for all my OLCI needs with both VS and EI and yes, the embedded map cannot be scrolled as I found out in both cases

And you're right about row 19 in PE, it only has one window a little far forward of the seat.

With a bit of patience, you can scroll the seat maps using an iPhone but it's not easy. Something the VS web team need to work on.

I was wondering the same thing the other day - decided not to risk it and went to the Apple Store to use OLCI there instead. [:p]

Or the iPhone team ... [;)]

This is Apple behaving as Microsoft used to, not enabling critical technology on its gadget just because it's not its own technology.
