I've searched for the answer to this but can't find it.
Is it possible to book a CDC from the destination airport (HKG)to hotel using miles? Or are they only available from home to LHR/LGW?

Details can be found on
this page of the VS site.
The service is available at certain destination airports, but it is not something that you can do in HKG. Also, you must be booked on a G fare ticket to be able to do this.

Take the airport express its fast, clean, well air conditioned and a lot cheaper than a hotel car or taxi.We bought tickets at the airport station ticket counter and got 2 returns for about 15 a lot cheaper than they were if prebooked.There is even a mini bus transfer from the Hong Kong island central terminal to all the popular hotels included in the ticket price[y]

Agree with JP.
Even if you can't get the free shuttle to your hotel from Central, taxis are dirt cheap.

We grabbed a taxi back to the station from the Conrad and it was about $25HK with a tip approx 2.

Another recommendation for the Hong Kong Airport Express here. And always go to the desk for the tickets rather than the machines as you get the special offers there - 4 of us travelled for the price of 2 last year. [y]
