747-400 G-VROC will be fitted with 15 new 'Groucho' Economy seats for a period of six months from Aug '09.

They will be located in rows 54 to 58HJK.
The seats will have no IFE, call bells or reading lights.
Anyone in these seats will be given portable DVD players and reading lights.

Not sure what is different about the new seat as of yet, but will keep u posted!

Im not sure if I would want to be sitting in any of those seats anytime in the next 6 months as I doubt the portable dvd players will have v.port

I was wondering WHY you'd call a new seat 'Groucho'

But I've found the following Groucho Marx quote that may explain it

'I'll see you at the opera tonight. I'll hold your seat till you get there. After that, you're on your own'
