LHR-LAX VS23 05/08/2009

Does anybody have any info as to why the VS23 LHR-LAX was delayed yesterday.
VS23 STD:15.10 Actual TOD:22.50
meaning that it arrived at 02.07 this morning local.
Naturally it has affected the inbound VS24 which is now due to land tonight at 22.30 (instead of 15.35)
Any info greatly appreciated x
