Have noticed the Virgin crew coaches you see at the airport and on the motorway are looking very tatty.

They seem to be covered red, and this is now peeling away, which doesn't really give a good impression of a leading innovative airline.

Anyone, maybe VS staff on here, know if these are going to be upgraded/replaced?

I noticed the same thing the other day, although they aren't that bad, they are 'Y' reg (2001?) Inside they are quiet, very smooth, clean and generally fine except for a little moisture ingress in between some of the glazing. (Coffee still hot, huge waste of space 'dressing room' and waste of time payphone, I mean have you ever seen a VS CCM without a phone at her ear) The dedicated team of drivers are excellent.

The buses are owned by National Express now after they took over Airlinks. The buses were built to a Virgin Spec by Airlinks to use exclusivly for the contract.

I suspect that they'll go for a little while yet and eventually be replaced by buses that are to a more 'National Express' spec but liveried up.

I short I don't know, but anything beats having one of these hauling you round the M25 whilst I kip [|)](although I always seem to miss them by about 60secs)

Hey!!! Leave our nice big red buses alone.

There a big improvemnet over the smaller Mini coaches we used to have.

The insides are nice.

The first bus from LHR in the morning seems to be a National Express bus with no coffee machine or tables!!! [:(][:(][:(]

It would be good to see some new adverts on the side of the coaches.

Perhaps promoting some of the upcoming routes:-

"Take a Virgin Down Under!"

"Havana-ce Flight" (Have a nice flight)
