Hi there, can one of you guys help me? I can't find any info on the above flights but I think the use the A343s ?

It looks like I'm going to have to switch my current flight from Grenada which will have a suite in Jan [:(] & go to South Africa instead. I don't think there are any plans to have the UCS on the 343s ? Could you tell me what type of seats are used (J2000?) and how fresh the cabin looks. Many thanks :)

Cape Town flights are deffo 343's however the JBG route uses LHR 744's with suites on certain days - definitely on a Friday coz werwe on one - and the seat map at VS has just updated to confrim that.

There are other threads about thisa topic but I am sure someone else will tell ya which on days they use which aircraft

Hi Alan

CPT flights are planned to be on 343/346. JNB is 343 at the moment but during the winter some flights are 744. I'll let you know exact types/dates/etc when I'm at work tomorrow.

Some of the 343s will get the Suites (see other thread by Highflyer) but they won't start being done until next year. All the 343s currently have J2000.

Cheers
Alan

Hi Alan

Sorry to be a pain, & thank you for your help Alan but we are now going to the USA ! Into Vagas & out from San Fran, so it just a case of "pot luck" on the way out but should be ok with the suites on the way back (me thinks !)

Hi Alan

No worries. You should be ok with Suites to LAS in Jan (?) - I checked for someone else in Dec and it looked like most flights had UCS. At least 4 of the LGW 744s should be done by then. SFO is now 100% UCS as all the LHR 744s are done (VXLG due back from Dublin tomorrow)...there would have to be MAJOR problems for SFO to get a 343 now! :)

Cheers
Alan
