Just on Ebookers looking for a good Premium Economy fare to San Francisco. Notice that BA have wtp for 505gbp and Virgin (same dates/similar times) is over double the price...

Any thoughts as to why, seems like a big difference?

Were both fares through Ebookers? What sort of dates are you talking about? It may be that the cheaper bucket classes are sold out on VS (see this discussion).

Also, it might be an idea to put your flight details in one of the availability tools (online & downloadable) to see what the availability is like.

Cheers

30th 12th outbound, 6 1st 2005 in. Thinking of a Las Vegas trip via SFO.

X and N seem sold out - so is that why? Forgive my ignorance, big on flying, low on awareness of buckets etc.

Any other thoughts on a 5/7 day break over new year with VS or partners?

No, X & N are Economy fares. K, S & W are the PE fare classes, and availability tools show:

Outbound: W7 S7 K0
Inbound: W7 S5 K0

So K, the cheapest, has gone. Remember also that you're flying over New Year, which may well be a change in seasonal pricing (though it's cheaper than flying before Christmas Day). No ideas on other providers I'm afraid, I only use VS :)

You are not wrong, it is continually the same now, I have given up zasking why.

Try looking for a PE to LAX they are often a bit better, and then cacth a shuttle up, usually works out cheaper and extra miles.

The other thing to remember is that the SFO route is usually pretty full. One of the FAs was telling me this on my last trip out there.
