LOL I really do love the way VS (and all airlines) dress up chicken and beef. What....no pasta though?

Hi
I am glad that I am not flying in the near future if this is the food to look forward to, nothing here that entices me to eat on a plane.

Doesn't sound inspiring for our outward flight on VS1 next Saturday. Still not managed to find 2 x Gs. First world problem really, missing one meal! :)

It's chicken or beef, just like it always is. What are people expecting in PE, the finest wagyu beef?

I usually base my meal choice on what is going to be easier to wipe off my shirt. So I normally go for chicken which comes in a white sauce. So this menu its stroganoff that will do nicely. Sadly I still have over 5 months to wait for my next VA flight, but it will still be chicken in a white sauce of some variety.

I should add it's not because I'm a sloppy eater it's just that planes by their nature have a tendency to be bumpy especially when my food is served.

Yes, just as always, but it would be nice to see something different, perhaps something scaly swimming it's way on to the menu!

The vegetarian options look pretty nice. We were reasonably impressed with the food on our last PE flight. As long as it's reasonably palatable and staves off low blood sugar induced bad moods (both with myself and my travel companion), I'm not too fussy!

Looks pretty good to me.

Proof that food on planes cannot please everyone all of the time.

I almost always go for the veggie options and had a butternut squash risotto flying to Montego Bay in Feb. A friend who flew a few weeks before me said it was one of the nicest meals she ever had on a plane. So I opted for this when it was offered. I casually mentioned to the stewardess that a friend had it recently and said it was good. She replied by saying yes it is fantastic and asked if I wanted another if they have any left over as most people never go for the veggie option. I said YES PLEASE and ten minutes later she returned with another. It was outstanding, fantastically creamy and hot.
