Hi travelling to MCO via JFK in upper class

Anybody know what time dtci opens I am aiming to be at lhr
Any seat suggestions flying on a340-600

Our favourites seats on the Airbus 340 are 9 & 10 on the A side or 5 & 6 on the K side.
Both seats face the wall instead of another row of passengers and personally I find this is more private. However there is still plenty of room along the aisle if you have a partner who wishes to sit on the otterman and chat with you .

I don't personally - though in the time you've waited for an answer you could have just given them a call and asked ;)

I would echo giving them a call, you have to do so to confirm you are using it anyway.

Thanks anyway that was my next step to call them I will be doing that tomorrow and will post the opening time when I find out

Phoned Virgin this morning dtci opens 0600 ch opens 0630

Booked the dtci for 0630 as dtci says ch opens 0700 although when I phoned earlier in the week about my seats they said ch opens 0630

I think the CH does open at 0630, now. It used to be 0700, but on a flight in December last year we turned up at 0645 and it was already open with a fair few PAX inside.

Due to work drivers dropping me off at 5am one too many times, I know the feeling (live a very long way from LHR, so drive time is 2-4 hours!). Been there for the shutters 3-4 times in last year.... and can confirm with the early slot they open 6:30-6:45 at times of year, so boarding commenced at 08:30 (this was back when Mumbai departed 09:30 hours in winter!). VS3 I believe now has same slot?

The private security channel also only opens at 06:30 - or did last time I was using it.

I wouldn't worry too much though - pre 7am there are not many in clubhouse, so you can get breakfast and spa appointments easily.

On the 340-600 would recommend the 10/11 on the left of the plane (when facing forward) - no-one opposite you and near first off, without the bar noise. Simples!
