Just tried to check out possibility of using miles to HK but got message saying miles use not available on this route is that correct or just another glitch by the hamsters at VS ?

It seems to be working for me now here? Both one-ways in either direction or returns, well lets me see available dates and cabins anyway.

I do know all the MAN>ATL reward flights are still borked on the website and you do have to ring to book those.

It used to work fine, I'm flying to HKG on Saturday and I booked them online.

I just tried again now and it lets me see availability, both ways and booked either way (LHR-HKG return or HKG-LHR return). But when I try to book, I get the very unhelpful message: "Sorry, a system error has occurred, please try again"

I suggest you check availability on the site then call the helpful folks on the hotline.
