First Post and need help re virgin miles

Hello Everyone

I have been a long time viewer but this is my first post.

I am planning to do a last minute trip on VS and am 28k short of the required miles. I normally travel PE or UC. Apart from buying directly from the airline. Does anyone know where I can buy the miles or an account to use for them. I normally just use the ones I have collected but in the past I have bought a couple of accounts from Ebay and used them without a problem.

There seems to be lots of US sites selling miles but are they genuine?

Thanks everyone

Hi and welcome.

It is against FC T&C's to sell or auction your miles (see term 4.1.10) and I would ask that there are no further posts giving suggestions for breaking any terms and condition.

If you are short of miles and want to buy some, then the only option is through the official site accessed from the Virgin Atlantic website.

Thanks,
Neil

Depending on how last minutes you trip is.
If you haven't already got a Virgin Black Amex up to 32000 miles for signing up and spending £3000 in 90 days. It will cost £140 but its a very cheap way of buying miles.
If you have done a trip in the last 6 months consider miles booster.

Yes, you can only buy miles from the official VS site.
