Left it as late as I thought but still an hour to kill. Flying home a day earlier from the rest of the family so hopefully should be a peaceful flight, lots of children but they all appeared to be well behaved (drugged up 8-)

The lounge is poor, we are spoilt in the UK. Check in was usual shambles, one of the Upper agents thought it was a good idea to let a couple in premium jump in front of me in the key  but at least I have a bed, although it's a 330 to take me back to Gatwick and then back at Gatwick on Wednesday to pick up the Mrs and little one.

Duty free sorted, RUM

Roll on next year, BIM again probably with BA and then year after back to Virgin, those miles are getting harder to get!

It's no CH but it isn't bad by some standards, I actually don't mind it. The chicken roti are delicious.

I feel the same about the BGI lounge, basic it is,but I have always enjoyed my visits, probably always felt well chilled after a relaxing holiday, also love the fact that the lounge is so close to boarding gate.

The best Caribbean lounge is Club Mobay in Jamaica. Wow!

It isn't amazing, but it's not too bad and very convenient for the gate. Better than being outside I think.
