Forgive me members, for I have sinned - it's been almost five years since my last log in (May 2011) - have I missed anything? So why the long absence? A forced migration to the dark side, after being status matched to BA Gold and various other airlines following BMI's demise which led me away from VS for the past few years.

After leading the high life, tumbling down through the tiers and eventually landing on my backside, more or less status-less, here I am, crawling back to you, tail between my legs, begging for forgiveness for my fickle nature. It's great to see so many familiar names still here, It feels like I've never been away!

But I'm pleased to say I'm back on the VS horse, having taken my first Virgin flights in years with an LHR-LAX UC return, flying out on Miss Moneypenny on Christmas Eve, and returning on Olivia-Rae on Sunday (seated in 2A with Vivienne Westwood in 3A!). The only thing that marred the experience was turning on my phone after landing and hearing the terrible news about David Bowie.
Anyway, my talented wife has made some little films about our journey - I'm unsure about the etiquette of posting links so mods, feel free to remove if I've broken any rules. Hopefully you might enjoy them!

There's also a film of the LHR clubhouse looking all Christmassy - I'll put a link to that up too if anyone is interested!

Welcome back !

Thank you for the videos. I thoroughly enjoyed them.
Made me realise how VS staff have it made with their red suits - all they need is the Santa hat to complete the total look. :-D

I would love to see the CH looking Christmassy, please.

Thanks for the warm welcomes and glad you enjoyed the films! If anyone wants to see the next vid as soon as it gets posted, please subscribe to our You Tube channel for this and more quirky travel films, it would be much appreciated!

Many thanks for the films - the film of Upper Class has made me excited for our trip on VS007 in May (would be good if it was Miss Moneypenny then too ;-) )!

Great videos - I haven't heard Postal Services for such a long time, what a great choice by your wife! Love the bit with the pepper pots - very sweet...

Really good videos, I wish I had the discipline (and another flight) to do these on my travels...

It wouldn't play on my iPad but no problems on Windows PC. The other two ,however, played fine on the iPad.

As others have already said, welcome back to both VS and V Flyer :-)

Just watched your channel on the big TV screen at home and I can say the VS videos give the viewer a true flavour of the experience. In particular I really did like the video of the Clubhouse and is far better than many put up on You Tube.

I am just in the process of composing my TRs from my recent short notice trip to Dubai and the Vidoe has helped me recal the pertiant points of the outbound Clubhouse experience.

Welcome back.

A great flight wasn't it?

I see Mrs H and myself made it into a couple of your videos, we were in 5+6A, and in the panoramic shot at the start of the CH video.
