Hi guys!

Currently sitting at the plaza premium lounge, courtesy of the lounge club card from the Amex gold, waiting for the hubby to turn up.

Off to Thailand for 10 days for some much needed winter sun. Flying in economy, though, with Thai airways, due to a steal if a price. Will report back on the experience, I'm sure ;-)

I envy anyone in a lounge right now, with the rain/sleet and wind here. Have a wonderful time in the sunshine.

Thanks all! I have to say that this lounge is quite impressive, and that the food offerings beat the no.1 lounge and a ba galleries club lounge easily.

We will be spending 3 days (4 nights) in Bangkok for lots of street food and massages, 3 days (2 nights) at khao sok national park (staying in a jungle cabin/tree house - I couldn't be further away from my comfort zone) followed by 4 days/nights on the beach at khao lak with a snorkelling trip to surin islands ;)
