Greetings from the LHR Clubhouse

Finished up with my meetings early so I got to the airport early to enjoy some quality time in the CH. Brilliant first trip of 2016 back to the UK. Settled in with a cappuccino and water. Trying to resists the urge to order some Champagne since I overindulged in London all week but I'll give it about another hour until I order my first glass. Tapas menu does not look as interesting as last trip but will give some things a try. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Must say....today the CH isn't too busy and service is too-notch. For those wondering what to order on their next visit. I can also recommend the Crispy chicken bao bun and the cream tea ice-cream!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Jon

Sorry to hijack the thread Darren, but when are you and Simon travelling over to NYC? I am heading that way myself during the final few weeks of Feb.. PM your dates and will hopefully be able to meet up. I think Blacky will be over there at the same time too..

And if you could change your flight to the vs9 the day before Darren that's 2 CH invites in the bag for Mrs B and I , I'm sure the kids will be alright on the sofas outside

So reminiscent of Blackpool in the 1950s when kids would be taken out with their parents for a "treat" which consisted of sitting on a step outside a pub with a bottle of pop and a bag of crisps.
