This is going to sound like a strange one! My last couple of Virgin flights have been on 747s in the bubble and they have been particularly warm (which I never object to as I love the heat). We are due to take our first ever Upper Class flight (really excited) and it's a 346. Do they tend to be on the warm or cold side as this will dictate the layers I wear. We have seats 10a and 11a based on advice on here (thank you) but any other tips that I will find useful.? Thank you :D

The thing is, what one person thinks is hot another won't, so it's not an easy question to answer. Last time I was in Upper (on an A330) I found it quite cold and had wear my fleece for some of the flight but I noticed some of the other passengers just had short sleeved blouses/shirts on the whole time.

The upper deck on a 747 is always going to be the warmest part of any 744 cabin as warm air rises. Also there are more seats on a 744 and often more pax who all generate heat.

I find the Airbus A/C do seem to be cooler than the 744's but as already mentioned it's a very subjective one.

I would normally just layer up .. its easy nough to remove if you need to and better than being cold the whole flight
