Hi, Mrs T & I are taking LHR to ATL in a few weeks, can anyone advise what time the clubhouse opens?

We are staying at the Park Inn LHR would love to use DTCI but know that you need to tell them the reg number of the car before you use the facility. Can anyone tell us how long before you use DTCI you need to advise them of the car reg & if you can recommend any local cab firms that will accommodate this?

thanks

The CH officially opens at 7am but quite often you might find it open slightly earlier than that.
You don't have to now tell DTCI the reg number of your vehicle in advance, it just means it takes longer when you try and get through the barrier.

As Neil says, you can just rock up now without any prior notice.

When we did just that last September for an ATL flight,It probably added 2 or 3 mins to the whole process.

The only problem with that flight s the lack of clubhouse time. :-D

I used Hugh Damian last year and Uber this year & both knew where DTCI is (although Uber didn't seem to have it as a drop off location so I chose something with else - can't remember what it was now! Having just checked Uber now does have "Virgin Drive Thru" as an option.

The advantage with Uber is that you are notified of the registration number so I was able to ring that through to the Wing. We did still have to wait at the barrier though as there was a bit of traffic in the wing!

Hugh Damian was around £12 last year, and Uber XL £9.30 this year - both before tips.
