Trouble with Champagne Belle
Posted: 14 Jun 2016, 09:34Good smooth flight from Washington this morning but on landing the poor girl lost her ability to steer.
Noticed the fire engines and wondered why we were "kangarooing" on the runway, apparently the Captain was trying to get things working again? Eventually had to get a tug to tow us to the stand.
Feel more sorry for anyone who had to go around or the knock on consequence if the problem can't be resolved quickly.
Don't worry about me fellow v-flyers, I have had shower in the VS arrivals and now safely ensconced in BA Galleries T5 waiting for my onward trip up north.
