I've had P's on hold for 48 hours and G for 48 and 72 hrs in the past - but it does depend on who you talk to initially!

Playing by the rules, they only offer a 24hr hold for free or you can have up to three days with the fare locker service which costs £10 per pax.
From personal experience I am routinely offered 48 and 72hr holds at no charge, but this may be an unwritten Au perk not given to everyone.

I booked 2 Gs last week on Monday. They said they'd hold for 72hours.
In the end they gave me a one hour extension til 11pm on the Thurs as I was late home and had left the booking ref at home
73 hours!!

I've done a handful of reward flights this year, my last ones were on hold for 48, mainly as I booked 5 days before - other than that I always ask for and seem to get 72.
