Good morning all !
I've got a little question regarding the access to the Sky Club lounge in MCO.
We are flying to MCO direct from LGW with Virgin.
However, on the way back, we can't fly direct and need to use Delta to ATL and then back on VS metal.
The first leg will be in Economy Comfort and the ATL-LHR in UC.
What are the chances that we can access the Sky Club lounge based on the above?
Many thanks in advance for your inputs.

Complimentary access is only given if you are flying UC or FC gold with part of the journey on the booking is VS operated. Since you have booked seperatly that doesn't apply.

I end up doing this quite often too. You have two options really (unless you live in US or have Delta status);
1) access via Amex plat is complimentary
2) pay $59 single visit fee

Hi Jayden,
Thanks for your input.
The whole journey is actually under the same booking reference.
We were supposed to fly back on VS from MCO to LGW but both flights (VS28/16) are not operated on that day.
I called the FC and they offered me the indirect route instead.

I believe you will get access to the sky club in MCO as on the same itenerary you have an onward same day connection on VS metal in UC

I had a similar situation flying ELM - DTW (Delta, first), then DTW - LHR (Virgin, UC) and had SkyClub access at DTW.
