Morning All,

We are going to use the DTCI in a few weeks, we are a party of 6. Can you drive a people carrier type vehicle into there? thinking a Mercedes Vito Type? Any recommendations on what company to use, we are staying at the Crowne Plaza Heathrow?

Also our flight is at 17.30, will the clubhouse be quieter in the afternoon on a Saturday, I'm thinking about booking treatments? Also can children use the hot tub in the spa, they are aged 10, 12 and 14. We are thinking of arriving around lunchtime?

Lots of questions!! Thank you in anticipation,

Cath

From the VS website:

Maximum vehicle height is 4.4 metres, weight is 7.5 tonnes and length is 5.8 metres.

You would need to check the dimensions of the vehicle you plan to use.

The Clubhouse does tend to be quieter at weekends, especially Saturdays.

Not sure about children being able to use the hot tub though sorry?

We used DTCI for the first time earlier this week (great experience by the way). A people carrier is no problem - although there were only two of us we had to use a seven seater as we had rather a lot of luggage!

We used Addison Lee, not tried them before but they were incredibly efficient with a very clean vehicle and a nice driver. Used the code HELLO10 for £10 off our first ride so only cost £37 from central London.

As for the clubhouse, we were on the VS9 so left at 1605. We were at the airport extra early to make use of the facilities and found the place pretty crowded until around 2pm after which it was much calmer.

I was in the Clubhouse from 0630-1220 last Saturday and it was very pleasant throughout - no issues with getting treatments for the times we wanted, no issues with getting seats and service was really good!

Spa treatments aren't available for under 12's For 12-16 year olds an adult must be present (and some are still not available to <16's)

see the spa menu for details.

I would imagine that use of the hot tub is on the same rules.
