Bits of Upper Class around the home...

So I have a few Virgin Atlantic towels picked up over the years.
Hand wash in the bathroom is Noble Isle from on board - and I have just bought a load of Funkin Cocktail mixers for a house party I am throwing next month to basically offer the menu that was on my last flights!
Anyone got similar trinkets or things they have bought around the house?

There may be a little airplane cruet set in the cupboard. Given to Mrs D when she asked.
I keep meaning to get the Funkin white peach for Bellinis but haven't got around to it and make do with Bucks Fizz instead.
We have bought the odd bottle of Lanson for pre-flight drinks, but I don't think it's the drink of choice on board now.
Sleep suits and amenity kits abound.

Please can someone explain to me why I insist on bringing the amenity kits home?

I was thinking the same yesterday when I discovered how many I've got!

I have a box in my cupboard full of the things... I don't know why I keep taking them either.
There was a fun
thread about this a few years ago... I think I won

We keep them because one day we may need what's in them.
I have a comb in my pocket from an Air Malaysia flight in 2003, when it wears out I'll replace it with a later model.
Toothbrush: Great for cleaning my bike chain.
Ear plugs: I use them when I ride my motorbike.
Sleep suit: Mrs D put hers on the other day to do a bit of decorating.
I would love to never throw anything away, but we are moving home shortly and some stuff has to go. There is one removal box under the stairs that was packed 20 years ago when we left our last house. I guess we don't need what ever is in it. Anyone want some Hornsey jars?

I am the same, i moan that they are rubbish, don't open them & then bring them home. I do the same with the sleep suits, take them home un-opened thinking they will come in useful & leave them piled up at home. I do though use the old UC shoe bags whenever I travel.

because you plan on selling them on ebay to people who collect these kind of things, yet never get around to listing them.

I may have acquired a set of the spoons with the curved handles and some of the smaller tea spoons

I may have the odd salt shaker which I use a lot (both the Wilbur and Cocktail shaker styles) and the iPad case style amenity kit bag is used as a bag for all cables, dongles and adapters needed for modern life ;)

We have so many of the UC amenity kit bags around that it's ridiculous. We have some of the ones that looked more like rounded pencil cases with a zip and my OH really loves those for cables. We also really like the flat zip up wallet style as they're great for carrying documents and currency. There are ones that close with a sort of leatherette belt and they're quite good for smaller make up brushes or art supplies

So they get a lot of use, and we give some to friends.
I am also gathering a small collection of the mugs; so far I have three but two are the same pattern. I don't have any of the Wilbur salt & pepper pots myself, but I did ask a member of CC if I could take a set for a friend. She loves them!
