Can someone help?

I am trying to book seats for VS051 for September 2005. This is for a honeymoon :D I am within the 336 days for booking, but cannot seem to find it on the site. I have phoned Virgin but they say that the names have not been realsed yet. Is there any other way to sort this out or do I just have to wait.?

Many thanks

Boo:D

Hi Boo.
What do you mean about the names not being released?
Have you booked with someone?

Hi Alan

Sorry,

Yes When I call Virgin to book the seats they just say that the 'names have not been released to them yet'. And on 'Manage Your Flights', even though I have a booking Reference it just says that the booking cannot be found.

Yes, its booked with Virgin Holidays as a package, via travel agent. I am trying to book 22 J & K.

Hope this is what you needed.

Many thanks

Boo:)
Thanks Boo

Are you a member of Flying Club?
If so, give them a ring, they should be able to help you
If not, then join online then ring them up :D

When you book with a Travel Agent Or Tour Operator They Have An Allocation Of Seats Negotiated With The Airline. When You Make A Reservation In Advance The Booking Will Be Made From This Allocation.

From This The Agent / Operator Will Not Let The Airline Exact Names Untill a Number Of Months Before Travel (Usally 3).

If You Want To Pre Book Your Seat Call Your Tour Operator And Ask Them to Release Your Names To The Airline (Takes A Few Days), Once They Have Done This You Will be Able To Book Your Seats.

I had this same problem with a flight I have booked for next April booked thru VH.

VH would not release my name over to VA so I just called FC in the end and they sorted it for me:D
