Is there really no Gold/Priority line at Virgin Atlantic

Is this really the case? Is there absolutely no way to get through to someone quicker than anyone else?

Not being snooty or up my own rear, but seems crazy. Calling Delta as Diamond they know who I am before they pick up...

There is a dedicated 0800 number for Golds.

It’s on the back of your membership card.

Yes, thanks Gumshoe, I've dialled that.......32 mins on and same damn song.

Called the usual number and was told she couldn't help me because she wasn't Gold trained. I joked and said I am no different in species, I just need you to try amend a booking I have.

No - Not authorised, offered to transfer me to the Upper Class line...... 7 mins in...

They must be unusually busy. I've never waited more than 10 minutes for the AU helpline (and even that was highly unusual as it tends to be more like a 30 second wait). Sorry that's not the case for you today!

Are you US based? I found the only way I could reasonably get through to them is after 9pm Eastern US time. Next problem is trying to understand them through their atrocious headsets.

As a lowly Silver, I have to say the phone wait times are joke especially after 1700. With them being 24 hour, and me being an early riser I generally tend to ring about 0400-0500 where I can!
