Strange question. Is it possible to leave Manchester T3 after going through security without actually taking your flight.

Someone wants to meet me in the Escspe Lounge at T3. I was think of getting a Ryanair £10 Dublin flight ticket to get through security but not actually take the flight and then leave after my meeting.

Is this possible? I assume so because it would be like missing your flight but I wanted to know for sure.

It’s been a while since I last went throughout MAN T3 but the only way back out of the terminal I can think of once you have gone through security it by heading back towards security but then go down the stairs towards gates 1-19 where I think BMI regional depart from (the same area where Virgin Little Red used to depart as well). There is (or at least used to be) a corridor and exit to baggage reclaim / arrivals in that area.
