Is it worth it ? - Shops Away

Is it worth it?

I’m looking to buy something and I have two options.

Vendor 1 – Price £469, if I buy through shops away I will earn 3283 FC miles. (5 miles per £ from shops away and 2 per £ on the black AMEX card.)
Vendor 2 – Price £398, if I buy through shops away I will earn 1592 FC miles. (2 miles per £ from shops away and 2 per £ on the black AMEX card.)

Both vendors offer the same delivery, free next day, and both offer the same 5 year guarantee.

So is it worth paying the extra £71 to get an extra 1691 FC miles? (vendor 1 will not price match vendor 2).

Your thoughts please?

IMHO - no it's not worth it when you can purchase 4000 FC miles for just £60 (or 5000 miles for £75).

Just make sure the cheaper one doesn't use a code - found out a company I've been using that have started sending discount codes out after you've received your order, voids miles if you then use that code on your next order. >-(

As an side note, they seem to be very very slow in actually moving the miles from shops away to your account lately. It can sometimes take 3 or 4 months , oh and the search function is next to useless !

No there's no discount code the price is their standard price which undercuts vendor 1

With that cash difference go for the cheaper option.
