Hi all,

I am looking at going to Jamaica in May 2019 and wondered if anyone knew of any plans to change from the 747 on this route? Plus, how is the upper cabin looking at the moment on the 747s?? Are they a bit tired, or still worth booking?

Also, ha anyone been to Jamaica in May ans if so, what was the weather like please?

We've just got back from MBJ the weather was great sunny most days highs 20s only one morning with a few spots of rain, I know its not May but pretty close! Can't comment on the change of plane from 747 but we flew in the upper cabin and it didn't seem very tired, everything worked and was very comfortable!

I would imagine with all the issues over the Dreamliner RR Engine fan blades the 747s won’t be taken out of service anytime soon

The Gatwick 747s were refreshed a few years back.
