V-Flyer

Six of us are flying in premium on MAN - MCO flight next Friday (18th May). The flight is quiet with 9 unsold seats in UC.

What are the chances of upgrading at the airport? How do we do it and how much is it likely to cost?

Last time I asked at the desk for a paid upgrade from PE to Upper on the LGW to MCO flight they wanted £900 per person and I declined.
If there really are 9 unsold seats your chances would be pretty good, but I would be very surprised if that is the case.
Where are you getting your figures from?

I have an expert flyer subscription so did a load check which gave the following:

J9 C9 D8 I7 Z7 W9 S9 H9 K9 Y9 B9 R9 L9 U9 M9 E9 Q9 X9 N0 O0 V6 T9

The seat map also shows 9 free seats.

I have been on this flight quite often and I always think the UC cabin will be quiet due to the seat map up to the last day but it is normally full. There are sometimes quite a few crew members and even their family’s makeing up the numbers. You may be lucky but to get 6 upgrades at a reasonable price may be difficult .
