We are hoping to travel UC from Heathrow into Miami later this year and it looks as though it will be a 330-300. Can anybody help with advice on best seats (two of us) in the UC cabin please. Thankyou.

Forward is quieter generally, left side A seats are more private as they face the back of the middle row.

We had 1-4A as a family into Washington last Easter and was fab. Not the easiest seat configs for a couple as you are turning your neck quite a bit but the ottomans help for a flying visit :-D

Enjoy!

If there’s 2 of you I would go for 1&2A because you are facing the wall.

Thankyou to both of you for the feedback, much appreciated. Can you also tell me which exit door is used, the one ahead of UC or the one behind. Thankyou again.

For boarding you’ll use the very front left door. Disembarking will be door 2, the one behind the UC cabin and in front of PE. I wouldn’t let that dictate where you sit in the cabin though; UC is a handful of people. I tend to go mid cabin just so I’m not stumbling down the entire plane from the bar. Hic.

Use of L1 door seems hit and miss on VS.

They don't seem to use it at LHR on 346s anymore but they do seem to on 330's or did when I went to DXB and absolutely do not use it on 787's so I would plan on boarding and alighting from anything other than L2.

That being said, for arrival at Miami VS now use the Delta terminal which no longer involves the 10 mile walk that you used to endure.
