Remember the old LGW Clubhouse?

The old LGW Clubhouse in the South Terminal has been empty since VS switched terminals two years ago (apart from a few days when it became an emergency BA lounge).

It’s now reopened - well half of it anyway - as a new pay-for-entry MyLounge, which is being used by Norwegian for their Premium customers (although lounge access has just been enhanced away for all except the most expensive flexible fares).

The other half will become a pay-for-entry Club Aspire lounge. That’s not open yet but should accept Priority Pass and Lounge Club, which MyLounge doesn’t.

And...here I am, courtesy of DragonPass. They’ve stuck in a glass dividing wall to create the “dining” area and there’s an outside space too. The casual seating overlooking the apron has been retained.

Food is ok - beans, bacon, frittata and pastries for breakfast - but you use cardboard boxes and wooden cutlery (a nod to sustainability, surely no recycling). One beer, one cider on tap. One white, one red, one rose wine. Four standard brand spirits. All self serve.

HFP reviewed it in the last day or two.
