I for one think the loft will never be as sexy as the bar... shame.

No great loss as far as I'm concerned. This is just an evolution of the on-board VS product. There's still an area to socialise and there's always way more to a flight than just the bar

Each to their own of course but I did love a few drinks at the bar (when it was manned and their was a good crowd on board)!

The bar was great when it was properly staffed and a little bigger, the loft seems like it could be a good space with a few drinks flowing

This space looks great to me!

Which if VS market as a place to conduct business meetings - see today’s Head For Points article - will not be a “social” space.

VS created the 'social space' onboard an aircraft. I guarantee you, there will be a bar albeit small, and it will be social. Two spots for you desking is hardly the wework of the skies.
