Do Au's get free seat selection on Delta basic economy?
Posted: 14 Apr 2023, 17:08One of the nice bonus of being VS Gold is free seat selection even in regular Ec bookings on VS flights - does any of this extend to partners, like Delta or Air France?
I have a trip to Paris in the Autumn, and the basic economy fare of $615 was too cheap to pass up for a quality carrier direct r/t flight, but... no seat selection allowed till check in. (unless you upgrade at substantial cost!)
It seems the partnership gives little bonus to Au's other than a free checked bag, is that right? Or is it worth a call to Delta?
