In October we are flying on one itinerary -

VS25 - 08.15pm - 23.20pm LHR - JFK

Then the next morning

VS4825 (Delta) 07.40am - 10.35am JFK - MCO

We will be able to drop our bags off at the flight connection desk when we arrive at JFK even if the connecting flight is 8 hours?

If your bags are ticketed all the way then you can pick them up, do immigration and customs and drop the bag at the connecting area for bags,

if not then you cant as virgin desks are not open that late.

If your bags are checked all the way, after you collect your bags at JFK and exit into arrivals, immediately turn left and on your left you will see the Delta bag drop/transfer check-in area. Not sure if it will be open at that hour though?
