Update from VS Trade;

Following a review of our Summer network, our new daily service between London Heathrow and São Paulo will now commence in Summer 2025.

This is not a decision we have taken lightly, and we’d like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.  Bookings affected by cancellations will be updated in your GDS on Saturday 18 November 2023.

For any customers scheduled to travel whose flight has been cancelled, rebooking options may be available but should this not be suitable, ticketed customers can receive a full refund.

My money is on RR Trent 1000 issues again rearing their head meaning more down time for the already busy 789s. Air NZ have preemptively canned Seoul as a result and their fleet is similar age.

I would hope it is to give VS time to “refresh” the 789 cabins (esp the old worn out Upper suites) but it may be wishful thinking ……
