we are flying upper class soon and wondering what is the best lounge to use when we fly home from MIAMI .......... nearest to gate ....food ...drink ... etc etc thanks

According to the VS website, VS now use the LATAM lounge at MIA, VS used to use use the DL SkyClub lounge before that; not sure when it changed?

You wont have access to anything else. The only other option would be the AmEx Centurion lounge if you have a Plat or higher AmEx card; though that's in a different concourse.

The LATAM lounge was pretty dire the last time we were in Miami. (and to be honest, the Amex lounge wasn't that much better although that was very early in the morning - nice views of the apron though.)

TBH, MIA is best avoided. it's an absolute dire airport, one of the worst in the US, certainly the worst in FL. Don't be there any longer than you really have to be.
