Booked a multi city ticket Man-Las and JFK-Man for 3 adults premium economy September 2025 in November 2024. We are new to this and red tier.
We used 1 reward voucher which was the 75000 points and around an additional 4000 points for 3rd adult with first 2 paying cash.
We got an in app offer to upgrade for JFK-MAN for about £350 each for upper for the two cash seats.
Have been trying to upgrade the return leg of the reward voucher for third adult with either cash or points but have been told 3 different things when ringing up.
1. You can only upgrade the entire return (outbound and inbound) reward seat trip and only with points.
2. You can upgrade the return leg for points, but then the system wouldn’t let them.
3. You cannot upgrade the reward seat at all now and must cancel and rebook.
We currently have around 120000 points and an additional reward voucher
Could anyone please help and advise on what our options are?
Can we upgrade the reward seat with our new voucher and points?
If we have to upgrade both the outbound and inbound together can we use reward seat voucher on top of one already?
